On November 23, 2007, at the invitation of Jianggan District Justice Bureau, Lawyer Qian Xuehui of the Construction and Real Estate Department of the Firm attended the meeting on the lawyers’ function in the land expropriation and demolition and contributions to the construction of harmonious society. Leaders of Zhejiang Provincial Justice Department, Hangzhou Justice Bureau, and Jianggan District Justice Bureau attended the meeting. Several well-known lawyers and legal experts of the City discussed about their thoughts and suggestions.
From the perspective of legal expertise and practice, Lawyer Qian Xuehui put forward the suggestions of constructing the third party (lawyers) legal dispute resolution mechanism; exchanging on complex and hot issues of demolition legal affairs by organizing expertise lawyer group and legal forums; lawyers’ participating in the demolition procedures to ensure their legality; prescribing guidance on the demolition practice for lawyers; holding meetings to answer enquiries on demolition by lawyers; and providing legal service by lawyers in the demolition mobilization meeting, etc.
